Bosaso(Puntlandi)— An officer from Saracen International, a private security firm based in South Africa was shot dead in Bari Region of Puntland, Puntlandi learns.

Conflicting news emerge about the killing of Saracen International officer who was in Iskushuban District in Bari region of Puntland.

Some sources say the officer was killed by one of Saracen International staff, while others say he was shot by al-Shabab

South Afirica -linked private military company Saracen International was operating in Puntland for the past months.

Puntland government and Saracen International have not yet talked about the killing of the officer.
